CO-LOCATION HOSTING

This service involves the provision of an environmentally controlled, secure space in a shared standard cabinet for the housing of computer fileservers and communications equipment.

This service is available on a per rack unit (RU) basis and includes a choice of dual feed, 15amp, 20amp or 32amp single phase and 20amp or 32amp three phase uninterruptible power rails and is particularly suited to small and medium clients with a need for high availability systems access without the overheads associated with maintaining a suitable level of environmental control in their own premises.

Co-Location Hosting:

Multiple Rack Units (RU) with a minimum of 4 RU (please note that this allows for both proper airflow and the separation of clients within the rack)
All power circuits are supplied as dual (A&B) rails – single corded devices should be connected to the dual power rails via a Network Power Switch (NPS) to ensure redundancy. (NPS can be provided by SDC or by the client)
SDC supplied power rail based on customer requirements.
